ye yao is known for his gentleness and quietness. many find his silence mysterious and wonder what thoughts hide in his subtle expression. he is known for not saying much during performances or on shows, and the most the public hears from him is through singing. he has an innocence to him due to his age and remains playful in private. his name and stage name are from the poem early autumn by xu hun.

ㅤhow to make tea.ㅤ

There are four steps to making a successful cup of tea. The first is to cultivate the plant. The tea plant thrives in warm environments. To care for and raise the plant, you start at the beginning. You must prepare the soil, water the plant, watch over it. To grow a plant is a labor of love. The second step is harvesting. You harvest tea leaves by hand, and must go through the leaves to remove the ones with damage. You must be diligent to ensure the quality of your tea. The third step is processing. Black, green, white, yellow, and oolong tea are all made from the same plant. The way you process them decides the type of tea they will be. Leaves can be withered, dried, oxidized, burned, or rolled. The fourth step is brewing. Water is boiled. The tea is brewed and left to steep and then enjoyed. The amount of time you need to brew tea depends on the type of tea. You can add flavorings to tea and create different benefits to improve mental and physical status.Yaoqing's father was a tea sommelier who owned a tea farm. He was quite wealthy. The problem was that he was married, and not to Yaoqing's mother. He was left with his grandparents, and his mother once again left China. It wasn't his fault that neither parent wanted to raise him. They prepared the earth, they planted the seed, and they didn't see the growth through.He grew up under his grandparents' watchful eyes. They decided what sort of person he should be as he grew. If he showed he was enough, perhaps he might earn the attention of his father. He learned to play instruments, ride horses, and write poetry. His grandparents grew tea plants and taught him about tea. It seemed like it would never be enough for his father.The things he was never allowed to do was anything related to water. His grandparents warned him when he was younger. The family has a history of drowning. Never go in the water by yourself.Yaoqing listened to them as he usually did. He developed an aversion to bodies of water, including pools. He was never sure why the family was prone to drowning, but it was like a shadow of death that followed him his entire life.He stuck to the arts. Playing guitar turned to writing songs. The older he grew, the more he showed talent. In his late teens, he had an audition with a company and was signed as a solo artist under them. His hope was to reach his parents with his music. Perhaps, even someone else. His stage name was chosen. Ye Yao. He was able to pick an English name too, which he decided would be Roam Ye.It was when he was in his late teens that he also found out about his disorder. Someone in management seemed to think something was off with his health. After testing, it was discovered that he had long qt syndrome. It meant that his qt interval was longer than normal, which had the chance to lead to arrhythmia. The irregular heartbeats caused by it were probably the cause of the drownings in his family. It seemed to be passed down in particular to males. In looking into his family's history, it seemed that other heart conditions appeared, too.Despite this, the condition thankfully didn't affect him much. It meant he needed to be more careful, and that being alone could be dangerous, but his life remained the same. He already avoided the water. Though, he wondered about the other boy his grandparents had mentioned. Briefly, faintly, in passing. When they thought Yao wasn't listening. Someone his mother had given up. It was possible that he had a sibling overseas somewhere.

Can you tell us about your album, Menglong? How you chose the concept and title?Menglong is my second album. After struggling emotionally for a while and compiling songs, I decided I would put together an album about my inner 'secret garden.' That's what the album is. It's about looking into my garden of thoughts through a dreamy and hazy view, because even if you're allowed to see, it will never be fully clear for you. The aesthetic for the album was based on the Greek myth of Eros and Psyche, love and mind, if you will. It's all about the difficulties of mentally putting together the unreasonable reactions to love.Tell us about the creative process for the songs.I wanted to use modern and traditional sounds. You'll hear that most use some traditional sound in them. I hope I can express the beauty of the language and music in it. I finished off the album with the most modern and upbeat sounding song.How was working with Lu Ning?Lu Ning was amazing and we were able to record two songs. One is used as the opening for a drama too. There's a lot of behind the scenes footage of us that's fun. She's really sweet and good at traditional singing.

Thanks to your age and sound you're popular with younger and older audiences. Do you ever find it strange when performing and you see a lot of older fans?I don't, because they're human too. Your age doesn't mean you stop enjoying things. I want them to sing too, and I want younger fans to be careful and respectful.When you debuted you were called a prodigy. Back then you said it was too much pressure. How is it now?I guess I've come to accept it. When I debuted I was a teenager, so I understand why people said that. It was hard for me to live under the pressure when I was so young. I just wanted to sing. I want to say thank you to those who saw me like that because it helped boost my career too.
